THE PROCESS:
1. Choose a word that has meaning for you, is inspirational, and is appropriate for school. Write your word in your sketchbook.
2. Write a paragraph explaining why this word is meaningful for you.
3. Create a brick with the paper provided (round the corners.) Trace the brick on the background paper to make a wall. Paint with watercolors. BLEND COLORS to make your bricks more interesting and artful.
4. Google "graffiti alphabets" to find a style that speaks to you. Practice by drawing each letter once and then drawing your word twice to refine it before I give you final paper.
5. Draw your word on the final paper and paint or color before cutting out and gluing on your brick paper.
