For this project, please do the following:
1. Choose a positive message to illustrate.
2. Choose HOW you will create the message: digital art, watercolor, colored pencil, shaded pencil, ink, acrylic paint, collage cut out letters, chalk on a chalkboard, whiteboard drawing...etc. The options are endless!
3. Create the artwork and FILM IT - in whatever way works best (there are a variety of apps and programs that can do this.) You may use your phone, my ipad, or a program like "screencastify" to record your screen if you are doing something digital.
Do some research to find an app for your phone - or my ipad - that will allow you to do timelapse video. Some suggestions: Hyperlapse from Instagram, Lapse it, Framelapse.
**If you have an iphone you can also just use the "timelapse" setting on your phone or borrow my ipad for that purpose.
4. If using the "timelapse" setting, upload your video into iMovie on your computer to edit, add any necessary captions and music. Make sure the music appropriately fits the saying you are creating.
5. HOLD the paper as still as you can when creating! When you move it around a lot, it gets a little dizzying to watch it sped up.
6. Find a graceful way to end your video. Don't just cut it off awkwardly when you are finished creating. Hold the finished artwork in the frame so viewers can appreciate the finished work. If you would like to, give yourself credit at the end ("By >>>>")

Reflection Questions:
1. What did you learn about the way you create from making a video of yourself?
2. Critique your work. What went well, what did you like about it, what did you struggle with?
3. What was fun and/or frustrating about this process?
