You have three choices for this Drawing Challenge. Create a dramatic shaded drawing with one of these themes:
1. A Pile of Something: shoes, tools, stuffed animals, seashells(you get the idea.) To make this work, you need to have 15 or more items in your pile, so pick something you can get a LOT of! Either set up a display of the items and bring it in or take a photo of it and work from that. (It MUST be your photo!)
2. Creative Combinations: Choose 3-5 items, one of which must be a face, and find an interesting way to combine them in a shaded Drawing.
3. Turn One into Another: Choose 2 items - one living and one not living, and find a way to turn one into the other or combine them in a way that visually makes sense.
Reflection Questions:
1) What role does persistence play in revisiting, refining, and developing your ideas?
2) Critique your drawing: what worked, what didn't, and what did you learn?
