pərˈspektiv/ . noun
- 1.
the art of drawing solid objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position in relation to each other when viewed from a particular point.
"a perspective drawing" - 2.
a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.
Basic perspective is a staple of good drawing skills. Being able to show something in the third dimension can make or break a drawing. This project asks you to take your perspective skills to the next level with a little creative photography.
Using one of the external phone lenses that I have - or just your phone - take a photo that shows an example of extreme perspective. Take several photos with various versions of your idea. Choose the best photo to create in watercolor, colored pencil, or pen and ink.

Reflection Questions:
1. What challenges did you encounter in dealing with extreme perspective?
2. How does looking at a subject in a new way help to make you a better artist?
3. How might the idea of looking at something from a new perspective be applied to life?
