OPTIONS:
1. THROW-AWAY CLOTHING: The materials must be made of objects that are routinely thrown away. Make sure the finished product is well constructed and visually pleasing.
2. MASTERPIECE FURNITURE: Remake a medium-sized piece of furniture in the style of an artist by recreating one of their masterpieces on the furniture and painting the rest of the piece in coordinating colors. (Check with me to make sure piece is big enough!) Research the artist and be familiar with the style and work you will be recreating on the object.

3. ALTERED BOOK: Create an Altered Book in a theme of your choice. Each page should be a piece of art that could stand by itself. Craftsmanship (neatness and care) is key!I have several resource books (and many internet sites) that you can use for ideas.
Explain your project and the process you went through to create it. Talk about idea development, challenges you went through and how you solved them, and how you made this piece personally meaningful to you and let your artistic voice come through. (This is your term test - give me several paragraphs of good writing! Make sure to proofread and include photos (more than 1!) of your artwork from various angles.)
