2. Reverse Shading: White Colored Pencil on Black Drawing Paper - This technique seems harder than it is. Once you get the hang of LEAVING the dark parts and COLORING the light parts, it comes together easily. Pay attention to the contrast in your drawing. You'll surprise yourself with this one!

3. Ballpoint Pen Shaded Drawing- Ballpoint pen is really interesting because it is a cheap tool, easy to find anywhere, and even though it is ink, it is PRESSURE SENSITIVE, so you can build up your shades with it (unlike gel pen or India ink.) Check out this video for tips:
